Mage week turned out to be more of a patch week and a timeless island week in my case. I have to admit that I haven’t played my mage even once this week. /blush
Mage is one of the classes I have played the least and also one of the classes where I only have one character. Today my mage is level 50. When I first made her she was a troll mage and my first ever alt.
During vanilla she made it to lvl 37 and I did manage to have some fun with her. She was my first character to explore Children’s Week and she must have PvPed a bit since she has the private title. But mostly she was farming copper in the Northern Barrens and that where most of her time played comes from.
In BC I gave her a race change to blood elf, but I didn’t level her. During cataclysm I needed space on my horde server so I decided to move her to my ally server and change her over to a gnome. And there she sat waiting until a few months ago when I all of a sudden leveled her to 50, mainly by archeology.
Mages is the hubby’s most played class and due to that I have spend a lot of time grouped with mages. That combined with the fact that I have a hard time getting in to playing mages has resulted in that for me it’s really not so much about playing the mage as it is about playing with a mage. But I do hope I will start to enjoy my mage more as she levels and gets bigger. As I have mentioned before, I have a goal to get one of each class to 90 this expansion so if I keep that up she’ll have a good chance of charming me in the 40 levels to come.
